Borebit - Commission by GrungeWerXshop Borebit - Commission by GrungeWerXshop
Here is an original character named Borebit.

Watermark design in lower right was generously supplied by the creator.

This character had an extremely limited appearance in the original Marvel Comic series, although I don't have much details on which issue it was.

Character descriptions and artistic direction inspired by :iconthe-real-carcass:

Enjoy!

another quality piece of work!!
I remember that comic.....some bots where trapped in an underground cavern on cybertron and Borebit and another guy called Corkscrew had to dig their way out..........
so the question is.. any chance of a Corkscrew recolour???

I had more diabolical work in store for our Mr. Gearsmith after Borebit...

You can see Borebit's pal Corkscrew from US #17 Here: Corkscrew by :icona-loft-on-cybertron:

Although different artists were involved in the takes of these two obscure characters, they are both part of the same project.

Hmm, up to Mr. Carcass for that. That is, if he hasn't already commissioned another talented artist to do it. :D

hey, part of that design was my idea. LOL

GWX nailed this commission and I was excited to see the finished product. Notice the grease smear on that dirty bastard! Professional dirt!

Borebit is a canon char from the Marvel comics who did not get a face unfortunately. Now, thanks to GrungeWerX, he has one. Thank you, GWX!

Yes, this character was Carcass' brainchild. Even down to the grease smears.

And no, thank YOU. :D

Very cool! Reminds me of the Go-Bot Renegade Screwhead a little bit.

From the small seat at the top he seems like a big bruiser.
Great job, the dirt on his armor is a nice detail. :)

All I want to know is how you come up with so much detail in your work? It's amazing just looking at the shades and colors and all the lines that make up this beautiful piece... Makes me wanna see what it's truly made of... Great work!

Superbly done; love the way you can really see how he could transform from the digger to his bot form. Thumbs up :)
