Sprocket - Commission by GrungeWerXshop Sprocket - Commission by GrungeWerXshop
This character was created by :iconarmadria:

I love this cute little fembot. I have to give it up to the creator for her original design. I just had to find a way to play off her design and add some transformable capabilities.Surprisingly, all the parts were there, which is kinda hard to do with a fembot sometimes.

Anyways, I'll post up a bio when I get it. I can't seem to find the links to the reference images online anymore, but I'll link 'em whenever I find 'em.

Very cool! She easily fits in with the G1 Autobots.

I'm faving this, and let me tell you why:

I could tell that this was meant to be a fembot even though you didn't give her an overly-humanoid, weirdly rounded form like most Arcee shots you see. She's got hints of a feminine figure and face, but it's mostly in the subtle gesture and motion.

Unusually good fembot work!

I am definitely going to save up and commission you to do Firebird, now that she has had a design upgrade. Her face would look something like this one.

Oh, excellent! Really like that semi-organic look. Love how you positioned the car front so that the curves and shapes harmonize with a female breast's, yet without making that part bulky/oversized. Headlights on her shoulders are a stroke of briliance as well. Her boots are very well proportioned. She's... perfect. One of your best designs IMO

And now I love Toyota Prius even more :D

The wait was DEFINITELY worth it. :D She turned out so beautifully! I have to hand it to you, you really have such a clean, vibrant style that makes every character you draw just pop out of the page. I love how you bulked up her armor--I have trouble with that myself, and the fact that you added the transformable capabilities only adds to her design. Her helmet looks fantastic and I LOVE what you did with her shoulder missiles. Thank you so, so much!

My pleasure and thanks for the compliments! :D

I really love this character. When I first saw the reference images, I thought she was awesome. You've got a great thing going with this character. In some ways, I like her better than Burnout, because her transformation works, she's feminine and functional and reminiscent of G1 while simultaneously being modern. Plus the alt mode isn't overly done and actually very basic, which only adds to her ability to fit in unnoticed.

To be honest, you've inspired me to design another fembot, hehe.

Send me her bio when you've got a chance and I'll post it up, ok?

You're very welcome! And thank you! I'm really glad you like Sprocket's character (that makes me feel all accomplished at her design XD). I like it when the alt-modes aren't too flashy--I really believe in the whole "blending in" thing, which is why I try to keep the vehicle forms as general as possible.

If you design another fembot, I'd really be interested in seeing her. You should post her up here when you draw her!

I'm working on Sprocket and Axle's bios now. I'll be sure to give them to you to update my commission pages as well as the images of Sprocket that I had originally linked to you.

Definitely good work. The chest and rib cage is a little broad though. You could have probably narrowed it a bit without affecting transformability. The chest shouldn't really be wider than the hips, especially given how slender her arms are.
